Compatibility Tests
The following tests are designed to
check that your PC is configured correctly, for use with the ELITE system.
Screen Resolution
This site is optimised for 1024x768 screen resolution
- although you will still be able to use ELITE, if your resolution is higher
than this.
Browser Test
This test will determine whether you are using a browser which will work with ELITE.
N.B. In your browser description below, a 'compatible' browser means that key
applications have been tested, but there may be some parts of ELITE that do not
work with this particular version. Certified means that the browser version has
been fully tested and is supported by ELITE.
Required Components
To use the full functionality of ELITE, there
are various technical features which must be enabled on your PC.
Operating System
ELITE is designed to run on a Windows based
platform. Windows XP, Vista and Windows 2000 are all certified for use with ELITE, although Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows ME
are considered compatible, when used with an appropriate browser (see test
above). If you are using a MAC, you may have problems when running the Test & Feedback, and the i-Tutorials.
Other system such as LINUX are not supported, for use with ELITE.
